Every figure above comes from Cooper & Hunter’s own Sophia Series spec booklet. It was re-read directly against the source PDF this session[1]. Three figures do not appear anywhere in what Cooper & Hunter publishes for this model. None are guessed here:
- SEER2 and HSPF2. The booklet’s full nine-model table carries only the legacy SEER/HSPF metrics for every size, not just the 12k. This is a genuine manufacturer-side absence, not an extraction failure.
- Indoor and outdoor dB(A). The booklet’s own sound-pressure-level row reads back a different row’s dimension figures instead. Three independent reads across two sessions found the same problem[1]. No reliable digit exists to cite.
- A 230V-paired AHRI certificate. Only a 115V-paired certificate is findable, ref 9119323, dated 2017-12-28[3]. It disagrees with the booklet on its own terms, covered next.

Will it keep up when it’s below zero outside?
Cooper & Hunter does not publish a capacity-at-temperature figure for the Sophia 12k at any point. The booklet states an outdoor operating floor of -13°F. That is a range limit, not a delivered-BTU number at that temperature[1].
